Five reasons to love and hate Skoda Yeti

Leaving the main design solutions, the engineers were forced to use the larger Volkswagen PQ35 platform, on which models such as the Skoda Octavia, Volkswagen Tiguan and Volkswagen Golf were built at the time. The Fabia and Polo platform originally prepared by the Yeti turned out to be too small.
In the spring of 2009, the crossover premiere was held at the same Geneva Motor Show, sales began in Europe in the summer, and in November of the same year Russian sales of Skoda Yeti were launched. HOW TO UNDERSTAND WHAT MACHINE PERFORMED?

TIPS
1. The fact that the car was repainted is evidenced by the difference in shades of body parts, even the most insignificant. You can consider this, being at a distance of about 10 m from the car, preferably with side lighting. To make sure that body parts (for example, the door and wing) should be viewed from several angles. Having fixed a look at suspicious elements, one should move along a curve that approximately coincides with a circle whose center is on the object in question. Colorists who can pick up perfectly matching shades can be found not often, therefore this method allows detecting the discrepancy of colors. Continue reading
