LIQUID GLASS FOR MACHINE. PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
A well-groomed, polished car looks prestigious and expensive, regardless of its real price. Usually, wax-based formulations are used as a polishing agent. But there is a better, easier to use tool – liquid glass. It is able to recreate a mirror effect on the surface of the body – everything around it will be reflected on it. The effect is more noticeable than wax. A car polished with such a composition will always be eye-catching. WHAT ARE THE VARIETIES? Liquid glass can be sold in different forms. There are special containers with liquid that need to be applied to the surface of the body and wait for drying – the composition crystallizes and forms a glossy surface. There are polishes in the form of pastes. They are also applied to the degreased surface of the car with the help of a typewriter and crystallize. Substances actively react with the surface of the car, thereby forming a mirror effect. HOW DOES HANDLING HAPPEN? Wash and dry the car before polishing. On the surface should not be dirt and grease. Some manufacturers recommend cleaning with branded products so that the effect is more pronounced. Cleaning shampoo should have a degreasing effect and should not contain wax. Usually, liquid glass polishing kits contain the necessary components for treating the body. After processing and drying the vehicle is applied the drug itself. Typically, the composition is poured onto a sponge and wipe the surface with it. After 1-2 minutes, the body is wiped with a damp cloth. Next you need to leave the car to dry. Also, after applying the composition for three days you can not wash the car. Coverage is usually enough for six months. It all depends on the means and cost – you should not expect a long life from cheap preparations. Also, the spray compositions do not have great durability. The usual means-paste should be enough for 10-15 car washes. WHAT EFFECT? After applying liquid glass, the effect is amazing. The car body begins to shine, as if from the cabin. The drops themselves roll off the car, it looks great. It feels like color is when the body is covered with a water film after washing. The color has become bright and saturated. If you compare with conventional wax-based polishes, then liquid glass is much better. In addition, it not only performs an aesthetic function, but also protects the body from corrosion, eliminates minor scratches, protects against burnout in the summer, and is water-repellent. A car polished with liquid glass is easier to clean, does not adhere to dirt, the film protects the body from scratches. Before the onset of cold weather should treat the car with the composition of “liquid glass”. In winter, we do not often wash my car, so it should be long enough.
